East Window
Rolanda surely must be instructing the first years! That, or today I have found a child so devoted to the Divine that he could not simply bear the time to walk up the stairs.
Needless to say, my east window is irreparable, as is the mosaic on the wall beside it, and the house elves have yet to clean out the copious amounts of glass and plaster that have covered my classroom. The broom embedded in my desk, however, I will deal with personally.
Normally, this would be a sign from the Fates that my students should align themselves with the natural elements...but, given the current, shall we say, bleak weather I am not certain.
Today the lower level students seemed, at first, to be relieved because of the freeness and cool nature of the wet air pouring in from the east, but quickly they grew to miss my calming incense and drew themselves up beside my desk and fireplace.
They did, however, bring their love of divine flame to my attention, but alas, I cannot permit it as I have foreseen their final exam--flame divining will only be on the N.E.W.T. final!
I lament for them, but they will dry out both in body and in heavy spirit very soon.
The N.E.W.T. students, hopefully, shall not be so weighted down by the rain. I shall see when the class arrives a bit later.
Alas, the wind has removed several of my eagle's feather quills from my possession. Ah, cruel fate!

Brilliant Weasleys! It is only a shame that the one of you were particularly unskilled, lest I would ask about your ancestry.
I shall replace them immediately with a more fitting form of plumage!

Certainly the wind will be more forgiving to the pheasant, bringer of game and good tidings, over the aggressive eagle.

I will away at once to this task!

In fact, I think I may have got some, because I have Seen and anybody that tries to find the OWL results of a certain Weasley will arrive at a terrible fate!!!
Or something!

I have also Seen this terrible Fate that you speak of and it will involve Zonko's Joke Shop and a shopping spree!
Uncanny!

You have had a clear premonitory vision? You must elaborate as to the ends that this vision entails! And swiftly, before the details fade from memory and time.
Perhaps a short paper on the subject, one and a half sheets of parchment should suffice, I think.
No more than three, however, Mr. Weasley.
To peer within a vision to such a degree could well set the Inner Eye off balance!

It is very gruesome, Professor, and I am not sure you want to hear it, but if I must do it...then I must.
