odd_tea_leaves I cannot understand the cards of late. Seventy-two times I have shuffled them and Seventy-two times they have come up identical to those times before. No matter which alignment, which spread, which direction I lay the cards…always they come up the same.
The Sun, the Moon, the Tower, Death…all above the Eight of Cups, the Fool, and the Six of Swords. To the left of the Sun, the Six of Wands…to the right of the Moon, the Nine of Swords.
I cannot bring myself to play the tenth card….
Has someone hexed my deck? Yes! That must be it. Someone has hexed my deck!
Such vicious pranks will not be tolerated in my class in such uneasy times! I demand to know who is responsible for this! Staff, elf, or student alike, such things are unacceptable!
